Clayton is definitely acclimating to the new environment. One issue we were having was that he didn't seem to enjoy strolling. For those of you familiar with NYC, you can imagine what a problem that was. He would sit there gripping the seat, all tense. We had a jogging stroller, so we would be behind him walking and all he could see was the rush of people and cars in front of him. No doubt a little overwhelming for him. Since we have never really bought a stroller, we decided to take the plunge. Might seem silly since he's three, but it holds up to 55 lbs (so we have 15 lbs to go) and Clayton is such an armful, that we can't tote him everywhere. With the new stroller, he can face where he's going or we can have him face us. It is also great because we can face him whichever way keeps the sun out of his face. So well worth it! I think Clayton agrees!
While we had a little free time today we also took Clayton to the Central Park Zoo. It was a pretty good visit.
Tomorrow we meet all the doctors..woot woot!

Night-time extravaganzas...check.
Weren't expecting to hear from us in the wee hours of the morning again huh? You know us, always full of surprises.
Long story short(er) we noticed when we got in our room that our AC didn't want to kick on today. We just went about our business though and didn't give it much more thought until dinner time. By the time we got a maintenance guy up there Clayton was asleep and so we all thought we would try and make it through the night until they fixed it in the morning. Even in his sleep, Clayton didn't like that idea. He started wheezing and sounding croupy...God help us. So again, making this shorter, we ended up finally switching rooms in the middle of the night. Clayton sounded normal once again after just five or ten minutes in the new room...woot woot! And this floor has a sun room that I am sure he will love running around in.
Now it's back to sleep!

Clayton did so good on the plane today! We were really worried, but the only two times he acted up was when we had to turn off electronics for takeoff. But even that didn't last long.
We got settled in the Ronald McDonald House and tried to rest a little, but Clayton's energy level saw to it that that wouldn't happen. So we went for a nice stroll along the edge of the park- it was beautiful! George even got his first NYC hot dog. Clayton got a little grouchy though; which makes sense since he has been up since 3:30 with only an hour and half nap. So now we are just hanging out in the room resting. I'm sure this has all been overwhelming for him going from being so secluded to, well this.
All in all I'd say today wasn't half bad!
